Jazz has been an international Grand Prix competitor ever since
2001, first with Tineke Bartels, more recently with Kirsten Beckers.
Beckers and Jazz have been members of the Dutch elite squad since
2005.
Jazz is a second generation Grand Prix dressage horse, following
in his father, Cocktail’s footsteps – and like Cocktail,
there is not a lot that says ‘dressage’ about the pedigree.
As a sire, he has produced the PAVO (young horse) champions, Broere
Norway, Patser and Robin Hood. In The Netherlands, he is the sire
of 70 plus horses that have competed at ZZ level or higher. He has
already produced a number of Grand Prix competitors, including Hubertus
Schmidt’s Private Dancer, Ulla Salzgeber’s Piet, Rachael
Sanna’s Chatham Park Jac and Potifar with Annette Kristin
Olsen, and, in Australia, the very successful Small Tour stallion,
Rozzie Ryan’s Jive Magic.
Jazz has a number of sons licensed with the KWPN, including: Broere
Norway, Olivi, Riant, Tango, Johnson, Vic and Westpoint.Netherlands,
