Yalambi Farm Stud
Yalambi has had an impressive list of performances over the last year as our horses continue to grow and develop. Internationally Yalambi’s Indigo (Indoctro x Dutchman) and Margie Engle won this year’s US Olympic Selection Trials, so cementing their place on the US Olympic Squad heading for London. The 8 year old Yalambi’s Landor (Landor S x Hold Up Premier) and Evie Buller are now not only the reigning National Young Rider Champions, but were also part of the winning Australian Senior Jumping Team at New Zealand’s Horse of the Year Show and went on to place 3rd in the 1.60m Grand Prix before coming home to finish second in the World Cup at Sydney Royal.
At home Yalambi’s Carpino Z (Carinjo x Capitol I) and Yalambi’s Phoenix (Voltaire x Galoubet A) have been selected onto Equestrian Australia’s National Future’s Squad. Yalambi’s Waltzing Matilda (Emilion x Wolfgang) was WA’s Swan River Jump Club’s 7 year old Champion and overall Champion of Champions as judged by Jeff Bloomfield. Most recently Yalambi’s Grace (Val D’Isere VDL x Calvados) and Cindy Morrison were the winners of the second day and 3rd overall in the 4 year old section at Victoria’s Dressage and Jumping with the Stars. Yalambi’s Grace is Val D’Isere’s first offspring to hit the show arena.
On the breeding front Yalambi foals by both Carpino Z and Val D’Isere VDL continue to score well on the ACE Assessment Tours, and we are expecting 13 foals for this coming season. From last year’s ACE assessment Carpino had four of the top five Jumping-bred colt foals including the winner Yalambi’s Gratzi (Carpino x Quite Easy). Carpino Z’s oldest progeny are now 2 years old and are showing his same amazing canter and jumping ability. We pride ourselves at Yalambi that our horses can boast the highest quality in Pedigree, Performance & Progeny.
