Hobe Bernard is the sort of breeder who is the backbone of the Holsteiner Studbook. Along with his herd of dairy cows, he has nine mares of his own, and takes care of another ten for their owners. But on this small scale he has produced some excellent horses – like the stallions, Coriano, Corofino and Crawford. His mare line is also responsible for the stallion, Diarado.
