Giving up his bricklaying career, Jock was a working pupil with Australian eventer, Kevin McNab for three years, and was competing at three star level in less than two years.<\/p>\n<p>After the outbreak of equine influenza in Australia, he moved to New Zealand where he started riding Frances Stead\u2019s Clifton Eventers. He rode Clifton Promise to 27<sup>th<\/sup> place at Kentucky Rolex 3DE**** in 2010. At the WEG in Kentucky two years later, the pair finished 7<sup>th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<p>In 2013, Jock won both Badminton and Burghley on Clifton Promise before he was suspended from all international competitions after a blood test at Burghley proved positive to reserpine.
