Schickeria is the dam of the licensed stallion, Arbolito (by Aletto). Schickeria is by that great sire of broodmares, Akzent II.

Quando Quando has had a charmed career, beginning in 1995 when he was the top priced foal at the Vechta auction. He was then awarded the 1c Premium winner at the Stallion approval before going on to win his Stallion Performance Test with the highest possible score of 10 for character and willingness to perform, a score of 9.5 for rideability and a score of 9 for temperament, walk, trot and canter.

Quando Quando was a Bundeschampionate finalist in both the 5 and 6 year old dressage horse classes, 5th place at the World Championships in the class for 6 year old dressage horses as well as 5th place at the Nürnberger Burgpokal 2003 (this is a competition for eight year old dressage horses on their way to Grand Prix and conducted at about Prix St Georges level.)

He has been an excellent Grand Prix competitor with the German based Australian, Kristy Oatley-Nist, and represented Australia at the 2006 WEG in Aachen.

Quando Quando also made a name for himself as a sire – despite his dubious conformation – he is very narrow chested and his front legs toe out quite dramatically. More than 90% of his foals were awarded a Premium at the Oldenburg foal shows in 2004. In Berlin-Brandenburg, where Quando Quando stood for a while, offspring by him are found each year on the top places at Foal Championships and broodmare shows. In the Brandenburg/Sachsen breeding area alone, 10 State Premium mares confirm the quality that Quando Quando passes on to his daughters.

Perhaps Quando Quando’s most famous product has been his grandson, Quaterback, by Quaterman.

His father might have been a jumper, but Quando Quando was all dressage horse – competing at the Olympic Games for Australia…

[110
1246,114
post-1050","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-great-stallions","tag-great-stallions","tag-quando-quando
["GET
