His dam, Celia de Paulstra had an index of 115 at the age of four, and she is a half sister to Hofca Paulstra and Jaina de Paulstra both six year old finalists at Fontainebleau.

After a good five-year-old season, Qredo de Paulstra began his Grand Prix career at the age of seven, and in his best years – as an eight and nine year old – he achieved a jumping index of 155 in 1990.

He commenced his stud career in 1989, with 63 mares.
