When his grand-dam, another States Premium mare, G\u00e4nseliesel was bred to Bolero, she produced the states premium mare, Blauer Engel and the stallion, Beltain \u2013 sire of Grand Prix\u00a0stallion, Belissimo.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.horsemagazine.com\/thm\/2014\/11\/dr-schulz-stellenfleth\/\">For more information refer to the profile of Wolkenstein\u2019s breeder Dr Max Schulz.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Wolkenstein was one of the very few sons of Weltmeyer to breed horses with a \u2018jump\u2019, and all in all, he has been one of the more successful stallion sons of Weltmeyer.<\/p>\n<p>As of the 2018 Hanoverian stallion book, he has \u00a0produced 6\u00a0dressage horses that won more that \u20ac10,000, none of them superstars, although Whisper was a great favourite with spectators as the partner of the oldest competitor at the London Games, Japan\u2019s Hiroshi Hoketsu. Wolkenstein II also scores quite well for type &#8211; 131.\u00a0He is recorded as having produced 594 competition horses (including 76 at S level dressage) for winnings of \u20ac722,371. He is the sire of 46 licensed sons, none of whom have set the world on fire.<\/p>\n<p>On the FN rankings he scores 133 for dressage and 89 for jumping.<\/p>\n<p>In the 2016 book, he has 602 competitors with winnings of \u20ac755,395, and now six horses have won more than \u20ac10,000 &#8211; he even has two show jumpers who have won more than \u20ac15,000 including Westorcan who has won \u20ac71,914.<\/p>\n<p>In the 2017 Hanoverian book, he has 611 competitors, with winnings of \u20ac779,652.<\/p>\n<p>On the new 2016 FN breeding values, he scores 128 for young horse competitors, and 124 for open competition (for an explanation of these values <a href=\"http:\/\/www.horsemagazine.com\/thm\/2017\/01\/rankings-article\/\">click<\/a>) His Hanoverian dressage breeding value is 130, jumping 92, and 130 for type.<\/p>\n<p>In the 2018 Hanoverian book, he has 615 competitors for \u20ac800,085, with 80 competing at S level dressage, and 14 at S level jumping. His Hanoverian dressage value is 128, jumping &#8211; 92. He scores 128 for type, and 138 for limbs.<\/p>\n<p>On the 2017 FN values, he has 127 as a sire of young horse competitors and 124 as a sire of open competitors.<\/p>\n<p>The 2019 Hanoverian book reveals that Wolkenstein II is the sire of 618 competitors who have won \u20ac813,469, with 80 competing at S level dressage. He is also the sire of 14 S level jumpers. His Hanoverian dressage value is 127, jumping, 92. He scores 126 for type, 136 for limbs. His 2019 FN young horse value is 126, and for open competition, 124.
