Enjoy Equita Lyon in 2013 – here’s the facts and figures. <\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

It was the lead up year to the WEG in Normandy 2014. Great organisation, lovely city, top combinations, and good fun.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

The show was in it’s the nineteenth year. And you could choose from a wide range of dining options in the \u00a0more than 12 hectares of exhibition space.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

There were more than 2000 horses on site \u2013 including exhibition horses<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

And sample French cheeses…<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

And olives<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0There\u00a0were more than 130,000 visitors in 2012<\/i><\/strong><\/p>\n

Who did we see?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Bertram Allen and \u00a0Romanov – a Heartbreaker son\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Alvarez Moya and Carlo<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Another for the audience, but disaster in the Jump-off. Patrice Delaveau and Orient Express, lots of TB lines… Spectators in the VIP enjoying in-tight view…<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

The mighty Casall, a sire and a performer, on his way to the WEG in Normandy\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Another stallion performing, London,\u00a0Nabab de Reve\/ Chin Chin,\u00a0with Gerco Schroeder, also on their way to Normandy<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Denis Lynch and All Star, the combination went on to be greater stars… Breeding – Argentinus\/Alme\/Ramiro<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Not good for the local audience, Kevin Staut and Silvana have problems…<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

More disasters for the locals, Roger Yves-Bost comes to grief too in the jump-off<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

And the winners were: Verdi and Maik<\/em><\/strong>el van der Vleuten – great sport, great show.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\nThird leading French sports Federation<\/strong><\/em>
\nMore than 70,000 members of the French Federation in the Rhone-Alpes \u2013 the area where the show is being held<\/strong><\/em>
\nExhibition prices \u2013 just under 20 euros a day, two euros less for Federation members, 5 day pass 50 euros, family pass 50 euros<\/strong><\/em>
\nExtra for entrance to K\u00fcr and Equita showjumping finals \u2013 35 or 55 euros, and there were VIP packages.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n
