Led by Dr Andrew and Manuela McLean, ESI is a registered
training organisation delivering qualifications in horse and
rider training. The Diploma in Equitation Science is the world’s
first accredited course to combine the theory and practice of
equitation science, teaching handlers, riders and coaches how to
maximise horse training in all disciplines by harnessing the horse’s
instinctive learning processes.

• ESIHTP501A Develop a sequential horse training plan
• ESIHTP502A Train horses in-hand using the principles
of learning
• ESIHTP503A Train horses under-saddle using the principles
of learning
• ESIHTP504A Develop advanced skills for horse training
• HLTAID003 Provide first aid
• BSBWHS401 Implement and monitor WHS policies,
procedures and programs to meet legislative requirements
• BSBRSK401 Identify risk and apply management processes
• TAEDEL301A Provide work skill instruction
• SISOEQO414A Instruct horse riding and handling skills
On completion, students are practically competent in the field of
equitation science, with highly desired skills in how you handle,
train and coach both horses and riders.
During your time at our training centre in Clonbinane, Victoria,

Founded by Dr Andrew and Manuela McLean, AEBC and
ESI are situated together on one hundred acres in the
picturesque valley in Clonbinane, Victoria. The centre
boasts premium post and rail fenced paddocks with
shelters, a 70x30 indoor riding arena, outdoor dressage
arena, 65x65 outdoor showjumping arena, cavaletti grid
arena, cross country course, undercover round yard,
rubber floored stables and tack up area, undercover yards,
chalet style accommodation, kitchen and much more.

AEBC is a premium training centre with a strong focus on producing
obedient, relaxed horses no matter what their future discipline may
be. We believe every horse has the right to the best start possible and
we provide ongoing training support for both you and your horse if
you happen to hit any speed bumps along your journey. Our system
is easy to follow and you will learn the reasons behind your horse’s
behaviour, whilst also teaching you ethical ways to fix them if need be.
Every training session at AEBC is open for viewing so come along and
learn how to always be one step ahead of your horse.
