Who's Who

Cornelissen, Adelinde

Discipline : Dressage

Born : 1979

Lives : Nijkerk, Holland

Adelinde burst upon the dressage world in 2008 when she arrived at her first competition outside Holland, on the ‘naughty’ gelding she had trained from medium to Grand Prix, Parzival, and finished the three phases of the dressage championship with only Isabell Werth and Satchmo in front of them! At that stage, Adelinde was a full time school teacher who rode in her spare time. Since then, she has become a professional rider, and a key member of the Dutch dressage team.

Adelinde and Parzival have won two World Cup finals, in Leipzig in 2011, and s’Hertogenbosch in 2012. The pair were silver medallists at the London Olympic Games.

Adelinde and Parzival started 2014 with wins in the Grand Prix and Freestyle at Vienna four star.
