German-born and trained dressage rider Silva Martin has achieved success in the show ring and is a sought-after trainer and coach in dressage and eventing. Early in her career Silva passed her Bereiters exam at the German Riding School in Warendorf with an “excellent” mark and is fortunate to have apprenticed with noted horsemen Paul Beck, Rudolf Zeilinger and Hubertus Schmidt.

Since moving to the US in 2007, Silva has enjoyed continuing competitive success at major shows including Dressage at Devon, the CBLM Championships, regional championships and on the Florida circuit. In 2011 Silva and Faye Woolf’s young horse Aesthete were named to the Developing Horse/Rider list, and in 2013 she and her homebred mare Rosa Cha W were named to the Developing Rider list and were invited to participate in the USEF Pipeline Clinic in Wellington, Florida. She and Rosa Cha represented the US in team competition for the first time on the 2014 Nations Cup team at the CDIO Wellington.
