Edwina worked for several years with Australian coach, George Sanna before moving to Belgium and the yard of Ludo Philippaerts. After three years there, she moved to Stal Tops in Holland, and eventually married the proprietor, Jan Tops.

Edwina rode Quelle Dame v/d Heffinck at the 2002 WEG in Jerez, to 48^th; Pialotta into fourth, and the four way jump-off, at Aachen WEG 2006, and Itot due Chateau to 13^th at the Lexington WEG in 2010.

She rode Itot du Chateu to 9^th at the Beijing Games, and 20^th at London.
