136th Elite-Auction with glamorous Gala-Evening

Verden. On October 11 and 12 the 136th Elite-Auction of the Hannoveraner Verband will take place in the Niedersachsenhalle in Verden. The Gala-Evening on Friday is a brilliant start to the anniversary. A large auction collection and a review of 70 years of auction history await visitors from all over the world.

According to the motto “The best to Verden” the collection of the 136th Elite-Auction has 94 top-class riding horses. A large number of licensed and tested stallions, premium mares and mare-show winners belong to the auction lot, most of them already victorious or placed on the comeptition stage – partly up to the advanced class. Buyers from all over the world are offered a wide and high-quality range of show jumpers and dressage horses as well as horses for the eventing and hunter market, which are second to none.

Among the 47 highly interesting foals in the collection is the head number 109 Cinimax. The Cornado/Antaeus-son (breeder and exhibitor: Wilhelm Harling, Sottrum) is none other than the full brother of Janne Friederike Meyer-Zimmermann’s successful horse Büttner´s Minimax, currently highly successful in international show jumping classes. As in previous years, a selection of about 20 two-year-old stallions will be added to the range.

\The riding horses will be delivered for auction training in Verden on Monday, September 30, and can be inspected and tested daily from October 1. The presentations on Wednesday, October 9, will be broadcast live on the Internet from 1 p.m., as will the free jumping on Friday, October 11, and the final presentation of the foals and stallions on Saturday, October 12. The auction begins on Saturday at 2 pm.

On the evening before the 136th Elite Auction, the Gala-Evening traditionally takes place. Moderated by the two auctioneers Frederik De Backer and Bernd Hickert, the Gala-Evening will be dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Verden Auction. The highlights of the riding horse collection will be presented embedded in it.
