Elite horses in the golden autumn – Auction training has begun

The 138th Elite Auction will take place online on 23 and 24 October over two days. On Saturday the top-class riding horses will be in the spotlight, on Sunday the unridden young stallions and foals. The auction horses have moved into their stalls in Verden and can be tried out now. Bidding starts on Sunday, 17 October.

The first horse at the 138th Verden Elite Auction is the reigning Hannoveraner Champion of three-year-old mares and geldings, Sedamo K. With rider Anne Maria Kleemann, the Secret/Dancier son bred by Hof Kleemeyer GbR from Sudweyhe, who came fourth at the Bundeschampionat, received a score of 9.0 three times: for trot, canter and training. The first top-class show jumper is head number four: The Stolzenberg/Quintender son Stepstone (breeder: Ulrike Stietencron, Emmerthal), owned by the Lower Saxony State Stud in Celle, has already won five show jumping competitions up to 1.15 metres in his first show season with rider Christopher Dittmann.

From now on, interested parties can make an appointment to have a look at their dream horse during the daily training in the Niedersachsenhalle in Verden, taking into account the valid distance and hygiene rules, and then try it out. The bids can then be placed comfortably from the computer at home.

As usual, the horses will be presented via live stream on various dates on the internet. On Saturday, 16 October, the opening presentation will take place. The show will start at 10 a.m. with the show jumpers, followed by the dressage horses from 2 p.m. onwards. On the following Wednesday, 20 October, the horses will be presented live in three groups: from 1 p.m. the show jumpers, from 4 p.m. the two-and-a-half-year-old stallions in hand and from 4.30 p.m. the dressage horses. Finally, selected horses will be shown in free jumping on Friday, 22 October, from 9 am. This will be followed by the young stallions in free running.

The auction will be held in two parts. Part one includes the head numbers 1 to 44, in the second part the head numbers 45 to 86 will be auctioned. On Sunday, October 24, an additional 25 elite foals with the best dressage and jumping pedigrees, as well as a collection of highly interesting two and a half year old stallions will be available for auction online.

Bids can be placed at www.verdener-auktion-online.com from 17 October. The bidding for the riding horses will start on 23 October at 2 pm. The foals will be auctioned online on 24 October from 4 pm, the two and a half year old stallions from 6 pm.
