Premiere: Hybrid Foal Auction
(Verden Press Release) On Friday, August 5, a premiere will take place in Verden: The Verden Foal Auction will take place as a hybrid auction for the first time. During the Verden Championships for young riding, dressage and show jumping horses, the foals with top dressage and show jumping pedigrees will be presented on the show grounds from 2 pm CET. From 5 p.m. CET onwards, bids can be placed live in the Niedersachsenhalle, on the telephone or online in the internet for the top-class representatives of the 2022 vintage.
With the sonorous name San Thiago, head number one introduces himself. The Sir Donnerhall/Benetton Dream son (breeder and exhibitor: Hubertus Poll, Gilten), is the full brother of San Salvador, who was auctioned in Verden last year for 35,500 Euros. Among the jumping foals, head number 26, Dakota H by. Diablue PS/Escudo (breeder and exhibitor: Hans-Henning Hagemann, Pattensen), is very interesting. Granddam Lome is also the granddam of the Quaid/Stakkato son Quality H, who was sold at the Verden Elite Auction 2015 at 310,000 Euros. With the Irish Mark Kinsella, he has already been placed internationally in 1.50 metre jumping competitions. The collection is completed by the brood mare Hann.Pr.A. “OnLive” – that means, interested bidders can experience the full auction feeling live in the Niedersachsenhalle, but also bid on their favourite from the comfort of their home on the computer. Telephone bids will also be taken into account during the auction from 5 pm CET. The procedure: Online bids can be submitted from 8.30 a.m. CET on Friday, 29 July at www.verdener-auktion-online.com. The foals will be presented one week later on Friday, August 5, starting at 2 p.m.CET at the show grounds on Lindhooper Straße. Afterwards, from 5 pm CET, the auction will take place in the Niedersachsenhalle.
The collection of the foal and broodmare auction, supplemented by details, photo and video presentation as well as the veterinary protocols, will be available at www.verdener-auktion-online.com. The presentation and the auction will be broadcast live on the internet.
