(press release – Agentur EQUITARIS) The Dressurpferde Leistungszentrum Lodbergen (DLZ) announces an extremely prominent new addition to its EU insemination station: Bon Courage.
The dark chestnut by Bon Coeur-Vivaldi-Rohdiamant electrifies the breeders. And that since his first public appearance at the Hanoverian licensing in 2018. The acclaimed premium stallion confirmed the hopes placed in him in 2019 under the saddle of Jessica Lynn Thomas/SWE by winning bronze at the Hanoverian Championships and shortly afterwards silver at the Bundeschampionat. The Warendorf jury awarded scores of up to 9.5 for the movement and rideability genius. In 2020 he also won silver at the Hanoverian Championships for four-year-olds and has meanwhile been placed in tests for young dressage horses. After outstanding first foal crops, he is now dominating the licensing places with his first stallion sons. At the Oldenburg licensing in Vechta, a Bon Courage son was the winner and sold for the absolute stallion market top price of 1.25 million Euros. At the Hanoverian licensing two of his sons went on the premium ring.
“We are very pleased to be able to offer our breeders Bon Courage, who with his nobility and willingness to perform is ensuring a revival of the Bolero bloodline, which is so valuable,” explains Wolfgang Stagge. “We are accordingly grateful to the breeder and owner of the stallion, Dr. Christine Feichtinger, for the trust she has placed in us.” The DLZ manager also includes Eckhard Wahlers in his thanks. Bon Courage has been stationed at Wahlers’ stud W.M. until now.
Soon, Bon Courage will be the box neighbour of the top stallions For Romance I OLD, La Vie, Rock For Me, Bellany, Forte per me, Juwel and Skyline to B at the DLZ.
