Premiere of the FRH-Cup
(Verden Press Release) The Verden licensing of dressage stallions is eagerly awaited. About 60 two-and-a-half year olds await the international audience on the grounds of the Hannoveraner Verband from November, 2 to 4. The licensing is the first step on the career ladder. Numerous great sire and sport careers have started here. After the announcement of the licensing decisions, the award ceremony and the varied show programme, the stallion sales begins on Saturday at 4 pm CET. The stallion licensing and the stallion sales will be broadcast live on the internet.
The pre-selection, which lasted several days, already met with great interest. The dressage stallion licensing offers an exciting collection. The pedigrees are very versatile and up-to-date. Everyone is talking about the privately owned sire Secret, who is sending five sons to Verden. Dynamic Dream is sired seven times, followed by Bon Courage, Damaschino and So Perfect with three offspring each. The dam lines of the young stallions are always of special interest, and this year’s licensing lot also has some special features in store.
It goes without saying that breeding and sport belong closely together in Verden. This year there is a premiere. Similar to the Hannoveraner Show Jumping Masters at the licensing of the show jumping stallions, the licensing of the dressage stallions offers a highlight in the dressage arena: Seven to nine-year-old dressage talents will compete in the St. Georg Special in the FRH Cup for the first time. 32 riders will compete with 40 horses.
On Thursday, November 2, the stallions will arrive in Verden and the qualification class for the FRH Cup will start at 8 am. The licensing begins on Friday, November 3, with the presentation on the triangle. The FRH Cup Final is scheduled for 1 pm. This will be followed by the lunging of the dressage stallions from 3 pm. On Saturday, November 4, after the free presentation of the stallions, which starts at 8 a.m., the licensing decisions will be made. The best representatives of the birth year 2021 will be awarded the Hannoveraner Premium. After the show programme with the presentation of the premium stallions, the auction of the licensed and unlicensed stallions will start at 4 pm.
